Even prior to establishment of W.A.R.D, Coalition-affiliated military R&D companies and divisions were experimenting with directed energy weapons. Laser weaponry was one of the first fruits of that research to enter the battlefields. Avenger is a laser weapon system mounted on a lightly armored vehicle, primarily serving as an anti-personnel and anti-aircraft defense using its four laser cannons.

Should any Coalition commanders find its already decent firing range lacking, it is possible to install a rangefinder upgrade on all Avenger vehicles if the option is unlocked from Heavy Armory.

Originally intended as a part of a modular weapon system mounted on an armored vehicle chassis, the Coalition vehicle designated as Liberator has mostly seen use as an artillery armed with dual mortar guns that can bombard enemy emplacements and armor divisions from afar. Particularly experienced drivers might be found with an additional EMP shell cannon installed on the mortar system, allowing them to disable enemy vehicles as well.
